How to choose primary efficiency, medium efficiency and high efficiency filters

The air filter should be configured according to the performance requirements of different occasions, which depends on the selection of primary efficiency filter, medium efficiency filter and high efficiency filter.
There are four main characteristic indexes to evaluate air filter: 1. Air filtering speed 2. Air filtering efficiency 3. Air filter resistance 4. Dust capacity of air filter
Therefore, the selection of primary efficiency filter, medium efficiency filter and high efficiency filter should also refer to these four performance parameters.
① Select the filter with large filtering area.
The larger the filtering area and the lower the filtering speed of the air filter, the smaller the resistance of the air filter. Under the condition of specific air filter structure, the rated air volume of the air filter reflects the filtering speed. Under the same cross-sectional area, it is expected that the larger the rated air volume is, the better. When the air volume is lower than the rated air volume, the efficiency is improved and the resistance is reduced. At the same time, increasing the filtration area is the most effective way to prolong the service life of air filter. Experience shows that for the same structure, the same filter material filter. When the final resistance is determined, the filtration area increases by 50%, and the service life of the air filter is extended by 70% ~ 8O%. However, the structure and site conditions of the air filter should also be considered when increasing the filtration area.
② Reasonably determine the efficiency of air filters at all levels.
In air conditioning design, the efficiency of the last stage air filter shall be determined according to the actual requirements, and then the pre filter which plays the protective role shall be selected. We should properly match the efficiency of air filters at all levels, and be good at using and configuring the optimum filter particle size range of primary and medium efficiency filters. The selection of prefilter should be based on the use environment, spare parts cost, operation energy consumption, maintenance cost and other factors. The minimum count filtration efficiency of different efficiency levels of air filters for different size dust particles is usually the efficiency of new air filters without static electricity. At the same time, the configuration of comfort air conditioning filter should be different from that of purification air conditioning system, and different requirements should be put forward for the installation and leakage prevention of air filter.
